1. Who we are

LanBid is operated by ProGini, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller responsible for personal data processed through the LanBid service.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), company information.
  • Preference data: NAICS codes, keywords, geography, agency, and alert settings you configure.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, matches opened, log timestamps, IP address, device and browser identifiers.
  • Support data: messages and attachments you send to our support team.
  • Billing identifiers: subscription status and Stripe customer/subscription IDs. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.

3. How we use personal data

  • Create and operate your account and deliver the matches, alerts, and bid-guide features.
  • Send service emails (alerts, account, billing) and respond to support requests.
  • Protect the service against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Improve product quality through aggregated usage analytics.
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations.

Legal bases include performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service, your consent (where required), and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Who we share data with

  • Stripe, Inc. — our payment processor, which handles payment collection, card data, invoicing, and refund processing.
  • Infrastructure and tooling providers — hosting, database, email delivery, analytics, and error monitoring acting as our processors.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and auditors when reasonably required.
  • Authorities — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and accounting requirements. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@lanbid.com.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit, encrypted storage, access controls, and least-privilege principles to protect personal data.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and security, and limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies via your browser settings.
